  • "Last October I came in to Select Cycle with my wife to look at Triumph T-shirts. I wasn't in the market for a motorcycle. My wife noticed the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE and said that I should get it. I have a motocross/dirt bike background and loved the way it looked. I wasn't ready to buy something like that for myself at that time but didn't quit thinking about it. Ryan and Jen told me that I would love it but I just wasn't ready. I found a used Ducati Scrambler and ended up buying that. I really liked it but it just wasn't the Triumph.
    We went back to Select Cycle earlier this month to look at possibly purchasing a Triumph for my wife. While we were there, I got to see the Triumph again. I should have bought the Triumph in the beginning and decided I really wanted it. I emailed Ryan the next day about possibly trading my Ducati for the Triumph. I came in on the following Friday and took the Triumph home for the night. I fell in love with it even more as soon as I turned out of the parking lot. I came back the next day and Ryan and Jen made it happen. I got a really great deal including my trade in and couldn't be happier with my new 2019 Scrambler 1200 XE. Ryan and Jen were awesome. Delivery was awesome as well. Craig and Van both took their time making sure I knew all the bells and whistles on my new bike. They answered any questions I had and made sure to go over break in period, services and accessories. If you are in the market for a new motorcycle, please stop by Select Cycle."

  • "Select Cycle is an incredible motorcycle shop. The purchase experience was the best in my four decades of buying motorcycles. Down home friendliness backed up by knowledge and professionalism, truly a rare combination. I traveled almost 300 miles to buy a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 in the color that I really wanted. There was not another one of this bike in that color to be found anywhere within reach. Despite the seller’s leverage this gave the shop, Ryan worked an awesome deal with me over the phone. He held the bike while I arranged to make the journey with a friend with a pickup to bring the bike home, fully knowing that if the fit wasn’t right I would pass on the purchase. I can testify that Ryan leads a great test ride. That cinched the deal for me. Jen got all the details of the sale finished promptly and helped me add a few extras to the bike. Craig and his team installed my S&S pipes and center stand while I waited and gave a me a wealth of valuable information on maintaining the bike. The only thing that could be better would to have them here in Asheville, as this is the kind of motorcycle shop that I would like to hangout at. That being said, it was well worth the journey and the experience has made acquiring the bike very memorable!"

  • "I’m here in the middle of our new world altered by Covid-19. My first motorcycle ride was on my uncle’s Bonneville 55+ yrs ago. That ride is absolutely scorched into my memory and in that moment I became hopelessly addicted. My first Triumph out of 46 bikes and counting. Tiger 800 with panniers and trunk. Purchased it from dealer in Tenn. but now live in N.C. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE involved in my big service and new tires was exceptional. My best dealer experience ever. Every question answered and it took only a few days (since tires had to be ordered). Highly professional attitude from all! (and they even patiently listened to my endless bench racing stories) I GIVE THEM MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. Will never go anywhere else."

  • "I had a stroke 7yrs. ago that left me with nerve damage on my left side. Wanting to ride a bike again, but not able to balance, I needed to do something, (a sidecar). So working with the guys at SelectCycle, I purchased a Triumph speedmaster. They had to order the sidecar and then build it with my bike. Riding again has been the most fun I have had in 25yrs.   • "I recently purchased a used 2010 Triumph Thunderbird and it broke down on the first day riding it. Select Cycle picked it up at my house to bring it to the shop for troubleshooting and repair. Jake kept me updated on the status and Craig did a good job finding the problem and determining the repair. I decided to have the service check items completed while it was in the shop. The work was completed quickly after parts from the UK were received. When I picked the bike up it was amazing, they had cleaned it up and it was running great, it was like a new bike! Great customer service experience. I would highly recommend Select Cycle to Triumph owners in the area."
